Our Little Family

Keeping a close eye on Granny K and Elise My first turn "holding" Elise
Mom with her hands full
Dad and his girls
Dad's hands are as big as Elise!

Cousins

All three of us with in one chair long enough for ONE picture. Amazing that Eli and I both had our yes open!

Elise and her admirer's

Elise got plenty of visitors today. She even got here early enough for Grandpa J to see her before he left for Paris. She loves being held, and so everyone passed her around.

My Little Sister!

Elise Marie Cook was born at 12:00 on March 25, 2011. She weighed in at 5 pounds 11.1 ounces and was 19 inches long. She's a little, skinny thing, but so precious and very happy to be out in the world. Here are some pitcures from right before mom had her and right after she was born. Welcome to the world!

My Last Meal as an Only Child

Granny K and Grandpa J came over for my last meal as an only child. Granny made ham, potatoes, and broccoli for dinner and I ate a ton. Then I got to have my own piece of red velvet cake! It was as yummy as it was messy!

Playing with Cousin Eli

Mom was on bedrest the last 2 days before delivery, so Aunt Kerri and Cousin Eli came over to keep us company. We got ALL of my upstairs toys out and paper for coloring! We had tons of fun!

Quality Control

Yes, that's my baby doll underneath me. Mom and Dad are going to have their hands full!
Mom put the swing and vibrating chairs together today. I had to check them all out to make sure they are safe for baby. Bella got in on the action, too.

Getting Ready for Baby

These porta-cribs are totally big enough for two, right?!

"Helping" Dad Make Dinner

Much of it ended up on my face, but I really like helping make pizza for dinner!

The Menagerie

I have developed a habit and can't possibly sleep without being surrounded by animals!

March so Far

I like to empty the bottom shelf of my bookshelf and play. It's the perfect size. Who says chairs are just for sitting and reading. Lounging is very nice, also. I do have lots of clothes, by the way, I just prefer to run around naked as much as possible. I hear that it will be frowned upon when I am older.

February Dinner with Eli

Yep, these are the only pictures from February. It was too busy to even document! We had a really nice dinner with Uncle Andrew, Aunt Kerri and Cousin Eli at Buffalo Wild Wings. I thought it was funny that we took 3 pictures of Eli and I with Uncle Andrew and only one of us is smiling in each picture!

Escape Artist

Mom caught me making an escape from my crib in January. Lucky for her I haven't done this by myself since and just wait for her to come into my room before getting out. She seems to think she wants me to stay in my "cage" as long as possible!

Misc January

Bed head x 2!
Bedtime stories with Grandma Mills
Checking out new couches
Washing dishes. Mom can't wait to make this my real chore!

Silly girl!
