We added an option to the blog to follow us by e-mail. Since we are not great at keeping up on this blog on a regular basis it gives you the option of adding your e-mail address and you will receive an e-mail any time we add a post. Just look to the right, under the Followers section for the link.

Toe Paint!

Kira's first pedicure, and I think she's going to love them like her mother! She has spent the last 2 days telling anyone who will listen to look at her "toe paint" and asking me to touch up anything that chips or gets scuffed! Crazy kid!

Playtime

Kira "cheering" Elise on while she crawls.
Thank you cousins Eli and Max for loaning "Elise" this fun activity table. Both girls love it!

Not a great picture of either one, but I thought it was cute!

Random Pics

Yep. Big girl underpants. We've graduated (most of the time). And, no, she doesn't much care for wearing them "under" anything as her favorite outfit remains "nakie". ;0
Elise has graduated to a big high chair! She is an escape artist with the Bumbo, so we've moved on.
We used to call the yogurt melts "baby crack", but I think they should actually be named "Kira crack" as she had a full plate of food she liked, but had to steal all of the yogurt melts from Elise.
Grammy K's little leaf sweeper. I think she actually made a bigger mess that Grammy had to clean up later!

What do you mean I have to be 21 to drink this?! Fine; then get me some formula!Hanging out on Mommy's bed!Aren't we cute?

Hangin' with Eli

Yes. We are two and a half and still love our blankets and paci's. And we're okay with that, especially if we get to watch a movie on the couch with them.

Cupcakes!

How do you keep 2 year olds both quiet and happy? Give them cupcakes, frosting and sprinkles and let them go to town!

Did we make this mess? Oh well, we're over this. You can clean up!

Tiny no more!

Elise may be small for her age, but she is a GIANT when compared with a newborn. At least we have photographic evidence of her not being the smallest, since we figure Max will be bigger than her in the next several months! :)

Indoor slide!

Mom and the girls went down to keep Aunt Kerri company on her first week home with the boys. Uncle Andrew is a genius who figured out that he could bring the slide that never got attached to the swing set inside and create a playground on the stairs. This could potentially keep Kira and Eli busy for hours!

Disclaimer

I think this is the most behind we've been on keeping the blog updated with pictures. It has been 2+ months, so you're about to see bunches of pictures. The good news is, this is now totally updated through today. The bad news is that two kids, two jobs, and lots of travel for Ben has made it so that things like the picture blog end up pretty far down on the priority list. We promise we will make an effort to put pictures up in a more timely manner; I hear that things really settle down when the kids move out! ;)

Bath Time

Here is a cute pic from tonight's bath. It's the first time Elise has been in the big tub!

Little Drummer Girl

Soooo close.....

Elise has been army crawling for a few weeks and is sooo close to getting all the way up on hands and knees. She gets frustrated with trying to learn the new skill, but is ecstatic to be mobile!

Tough morning

There are days when I wonder if I can get a babysitter and go to work because it might be easier. This was one of those mornings that had one or both of them crying more than I'd like to admit. Thankfully a graham cracker and not one but two lollipops seemed to cure them!

Cousin Max ("Baby Max")

Cousin Max came a couple of weeks earlier than his planned C-section, so Kira, Elise and I got to go spend the day with Eli while we waited for Max to arrive. Kira and Eli played A LOT, and both napped really well in anticipation of a late bed time after visiting Max. Eli had his last dinner as an only child with Kira. I swear she kept looking at him like "you have no idea what you're in for". LOL! The two toddlers waited patiently in the hospital waiting room with the help of stickers and an I-Pad. Everyone did well in delivery, and Eli was super excited to meet Max. Kira asks every day that we don't see them to "go Eli's house and play and see baby Max". It's pretty cute!

"Halloween"

Cousin Max was born on Halloween, so we skipped trick-or-treating. These pics are from a trip to "Boo at the Zoo" a few days earlier. In hindsight, I wish I had taken more pictures that day. They looked super cute in their costumes. We are thinking of getting the girls and cousin Eli dressed up in their costumes for a little party and we'll get some better pictures.

Giggle sisters

All Kira has to do is laugh to get Elise going. We see this several times a day.

First Snow of the Season

Kira is a huge fan of "Ice Snow". She can't get enough of playing in it - outside and in. At least she shares with Elise! And, yes, letting her have snow at the dinner table did get her to eat more real food, too....

Misc October Pics

Kira specifically requested this "Party Dress" and her "Owboy hat". LOL For some reason Ben finds it hard to get work done at home!

Who needs a book when you can bring an I-Pad to the potty?

Ben and I found Kira like this an hour after she went to bed in her bed. Oh the joys of having a 2 year old who loves to climb!

We moved Kira's chair to accommodate the TV for football when Aunt Stephanie and Uncle Mike were out. Kira decided to move it directly in front of the TV for a better view!

Ready for a chilly walk with Aunt Stephanie and Uncle Mike.
