No houses were harmed in the filming of this fun...

We had a lot of close calls with this house, the snow bank, etc., so it became important to have 2 of us ready to stop her when needed. Still lots of fun!

First Sled Ride

Sledding!

Santa brought Kira a sled and we took her to a little hill in Grammy K and Grandpa J's neighborhood the day after Christmas. She could not have had more fun! Even after Dad accidentally sent her face first into a snowbank (only a little bloody), she only cried for a few seconds and then asked "go again?". She would have stayed out all night if we didn't get tired dragging her up the hill over and over again. Even Elise got in on the fun, though only once and with Dad for protection.

We got our house back!

The presents are away, the trash is out, and we can see our floor again. I somehow thought the train stuff would go away between uses, but it is being played with almost constantly, so it seems to be our new coffee table center piece for now.

Christmas Night

Looking at the lights right outside of the dining room window.

We had Christmas dinner with my extended family at Aunt Lynn's house. Cousins Sara and Amy set up their old doll house that day and Kira had endless fun playing with it and all of the little playskool figures. She created several mosh pits, and had people do every activity. They both did great despite being out way past their bed time before we went home.

Christmas Morning

Santa Came!

That's a lot of presents to try to open with a toddler and an infant. We made it through, though, and feel so loved!

Kira "helping" Elise with her toy.

Kira with wings, a wand, and a fire truck. That's our little "girl". ;)

Elise is better at opening than Kira!

Tuckered out from all those presents!

Kira's favorite new toy? Her trains and track! We have already spent hours with this.

Christmas Eve

Max is catching up!

Dualing Sit n' Spins!

Playing with old toys before the big day

Kira and Grandpa J watching a movie and waiting for Santa. She was one tired girl.

Elise eats real food...

and loves it!

Holiday Picture Shoot x 2

Josh was kind enough to come to our house not once, but twice to take pictures for our holiday card. These are some of our favorites. Not one pic has all 4 family members looking at the camera, but we thought this one was the best of the bunch. We hope to have cards out before Valentine's day. Wish us luck!
