Kira Peddling

Sorry it's so short, but shows her pedaling her trike. I am learning that kids stop doing cute things about as soon as you turn a camera in their direction. She has always preferred her Scoot Bike before this week unless we had the bar attached to the back to help her go. She has now decided she loves to peddle!

Would you ever guess there is a 5 month difference in age between these two? Elise is older. Emma is younger. It is funny to pick them up at the same time. Elise is probably a couple of pounds lighter than Emma. And Emma is solidly 50% for her age, not a big kid!

Stella's New Jeep

Mom has been telling Dad that we are WAY to young for a motorized vehicle. Well, this is what my friend Stella got for her 3rd birthday. And...she's 2 months younger than me! Mom still claims I'm too young to drive one of these. Oh, well, I'll just make sure to have more play dates at Stella's house. She has a giant trampoline, too!!!

I mentioned to Kira that she couldn't come outside to water the lawn with me because she was naked. This seemed like a perfectly good solution to her!

Making Pizza with Eli...

Cousin Eli came over to play while Cousin Max went to his 9mo visit with the pediatrician and we made pizza for lunch. Kira and Eli both had some pretty specific ideas about what needs to go on the pizza and where. Mainly just piles of stuff with nothing around them. Needless to say, I helped re-distriubute before it went in the oven and they both ate good lunch.

Tuckered out from the hike...

I imagine that Elise would like to know why we keep doing things during her nap time. She got a sweet ride, though, and didn't fall asleep until the end.
