The new Elephant and Rhino exhibit at the Zoo is awesome. The Elephants even have a pool! Elise couldn't get enough. Kira and Sloan just liked the stadium seating for shows that they could climb and run on like crazy people.

What do you do when you're done working hard? Strip off your dirty, sweaty clothes, put your hands behind your head, cross your legs, and exclaim: "this is nice day, right?" Ben and I were still working hard, but had to stop to laugh and take pictures of this. We catch her doing this at least daily now!
We have had a sandbox in the yard for the last 2 years. We decided we wanted to get it off the grass and onto the concrete covered porch (easier clean up). That project turned into digging up the yard that had been under the sandbox and laying sod, taking out the vegetable garden and planting perennial shrubs, and trimming all of our trees and shrubs. This is just a portion of our tree and shrub debris. We will post pictures of the finished product if we ever get there!
