Christmas

We went to my Great Aunt and Uncle's house for a Christmas night family gathering. I got to spend time with lots of relatives. I love my Great GranJan. Here I am playing with my shoe and my new fish toy from my Aunt Emily.

My first Christmas Present

I love my new wooden Clown Puppet that Grandma and Grandpa Harris got me in the Netherlands!

Christmas Eve

We went to Grandma and Grandpa Harris' house for Christmas Eve Dinner after mom got done with work. I played a lot and then spent some time playing with the bows on the presents under the tree. I got some cool stuff!

It didn't take me long to figure out that there is just enough clearance under the tree for me. Better, yet, there is a big bowl of water for me to play with!

Playing on the floor while Mom and Dad decorate the tree. I've recently figured out how fun it is to just bang spoons in pots and pans! Now that I can crawl they set me far away from my toys so I have to work to get them.

Decorating the tree

Mom and Dad let me put the first ornament on my first Christmas tree, with Dad's help. I was pretty pleased with myself!

Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree!

Mom, Dad and I went to buy a Christmas Tree last weekend and I helped pick it out! I can't wait to decorate it and put my first ornaments in place (thanks Shannon, Great Aunt Joy, and Grandma Harris!). I worry that my parents wont let me play under it once the nice ornaments are hanging on the branches!

Mom and Dad did a big photo shoot in my Christmas outfit to get pictures for our Holiday card. I was more cooperative for some than for others! I even left that bow on my head the whole time. Don't worry, mom was hiding behind the wall to catch me if I fell while holding the Foo Dog with his Christmas hat and beard!

Olympia 2009

I had a fun vacation in Olympia. I got to meet Granpa Cook and CiCi, play with new toys, nap with Daddy, ride around in a Caddy and visit the Port of Olympia. Daddy and I loved all the big boats! The whole trip was fun and I showed my parents what a good traveler I am for our second plane trip in 7 months.

I had peas while everyone else had Turkey, but they did let me try a piece of Cici's homemade bread during the trip.

I visited Grandpa Cook in Olympia for Thanksgiving and had my first bath in a sink!

Teeth!

I got my first 2 teeth at 5 1/2 months, but have kept them under wraps for pictures. Grandma Harris made me laugh long enough to catch them on film!

Bathtime

Bathtime is one of my favorites. I like to play with as many toys as possible!

I Can Feed Myself

It's good to eat right before bathtime. Mom and Dad let me feed myself if I'm going to the bath!

Happy Halloween!

I wore my Candycorn hat and Pumpkin bib to eat, but my costume is a ladybug. I went to "Boo at the Zoo" with cousin Eli and our parents. It was crazy with all the kids Trick-or-Treating!

Sitting, sitting, sitting

These pictures are old, but my favorite thing to do is sit. I can sit for minutes and play without falling over. I'm even using a high chair at restaurants!

My first Snow Storm

Some of the drifts were almost as tall as me! Mom and I had fun playing in the snow. I even made my first snow-angel!
