Don't bother me, I'm watching football...

Looks like a serious fan, doesn't she? In reality, she was just very ready for a nap. But, it made for a cute picture!

Go CU! LOL!

So, CU just finished their worst season of football in school history. We alumni should be very proud. A few weeks before it was in the books, Ben had tickets to the CU-Univeristy of Washington game and went with a friend. He left the house in the morning with kids that weren't dressed and just assumed I would put them in UW clothes since he went there. Well, Kira wanted nothing to do with clothing for either school because that would make playing dress up harder. Elise, on the other hand donned her CU finest to let dad know we are not fair weather fans!

Trick-or-Treating

"Okay, we're ready to go..."

"No, seriously, we want to go..."

"Can you do the stairs any faster Elise?..."

"Okay, how about if you guys just meet me at the first house?"...

"Wait for me!"

"Finally, our first stop. I hope they have something good!"

"I am just going to keep moving. You can keep up, or not, but I'm hitting as many houses as I can. Seriously, do you realize all these people are just giving me CANDY?! Halloween is the BEST HOLIDAY EVER!"

Cousin Max is 1!

It's pretty awesome to have a halloween birthday. Max had a costume party and everyone dressed up. It was super fun.
The Pirate and the Penguin. How cute are these two? Apparently they both had something in/on their mouth that needed immediate attention.

We made Max's individual cake that he got to destroy.

His favorite part was the stem (pure icing!), but actually did a good job of eating a bunch of the "too big for a one year old" jack-o-lantern cake.

Hanging with the big kids

Annah and Kira found something VERY interesting to watch.

I'm bummed this picture is so blurry, because it was such a cute moment!

Finished Product

Our girls' pumpkins are on the top and bottom steps. Hunter's and Annah's are in the middle. We promptly brought them in for the night after this since our friendly yard squirrels eat pumpkins that are left unattended.

Carving Pumpkins

Grandma Marcy and Grandpa Tim came to town to visit (Cousin Max turned one!), and helped with carving pumpkins. It turned into a party with the Harrison's. 4 pumpkins in one night. So much fun! I can't wait until the girls are a bit bigger and can decide on their own designs. It was cool to see Hunter and Annah really take part in the designing and carving.

First Sled Ride of the Season

Kira was so excited for the first snow (as small as it was) and sledded every inch of our tiny hill. She loved it!

Kira found Mom's sock drawer

And decided she didn't need to wear anything else!

When toddlers dress themselves...

The results are interesting. At least she still says "go Broncos!"

School mornings

Kira always brings more than she needs...
...and Elise just wants to go with her. She cries every time Kira walks into the classroom!

Dress Up

The girls love dress up time. Elise especially loves to just put every hat available on in rapid succession.

Grandpa Ben's Visit

Grandpa Ben (or Grandpa Dad since he has the same first name as dad) came for a visit. The girls loved having him here, and can't wait to see him again.

Wait, I'm supposed to eat with these?!

Yep, we eat with no shirts on most of the time. Cuts back on laundry, and it makes us giggle.

Reading books about potty. I'm sure he couldn't have imagined anything more fun for a visit.

Kira was sure he needed one more hug before he went; even if it meant running outside in no pants to catch him.

Mid-Run Park

The only way Mom gets a decent run in these days is to barain by finding parks that are on the route. This one is a couple of miles from home, so makes for a nice mid point. Plus, the girls love that it has 2 slides and a bunch of springy animals to ride. I like that it isn't super crowded.
