Random May Pics

It never ceases to amaze me how babies can literally sleep anywhere, and in any position.

Dad and his girls.

Elise has a great smile. We keep trying to capture it in a picture, but this is the best we've gotten so far.

Groundbreaking

Kira was the official first to break ground at Grammy K and Grandpa J's lot. The whole family got in on the action after that and then we had a little party for Groundbreaking, Mother's Day, and Kira's Birthday. The last picture here shows the best view of Kira's first hair cut that we have yet. Just shortened the back to even it up a bit with the front.

Kira is 2!

Waiting for my friends to arrive!

Elise got dressed up and joined us outside! My butterfly balloon with the other balloons and bubble wand party favors

Eli and I playing while waiting for the other kids to arrive

About to eat my cake!

My butterfly cake.

Sisters

Just some cute pics of the sisters together. Yes, they hang out on our bed a bunch. Note: no one was injured in the documentation of these activities, but it is apparent that younger siblings are resilient for a reason!

Getting Ready to Shop

Mom told me we were going shopping for my birthday party, so I decided Elise and I needed plenty of toys to keep us busy during the trip. It only seems fair that Elise carry them since she is the younger sister.

Frog Boots

Who doesn't love a picture of a toddler in nothing but her froggy rain boots? Kira loves her birthday present from Gandma and Grandpa Mills.

Bunny Cake, Kids Table

Everyone came to our house for Easter this year. Grammy K made a Bunny cake for the occasion, which made Eli and I very happy. Eli and I had our very own table at Easter this year. We are really growing up! We got to eat dinner and Bunny cake at the table without any parents!

Easter

The Easter Bunny came and left baskets for both Elise and me. "We" had fun opening all the eggs to find treats like Goldfish or Raisins, playing with our toys and reading our new books. We tried to get cute pictures of Elise and I together, but she really didn't want to open her eyes.

Grandma and Grandpa Mills Visit

Grandma and Grandpa Mills came to visit and meet Elise. We had a great time.

Doll Clothes!

What do you do when you are too small to even hold up newborn size clothes? Step out in ever fashionable doll clothes! Thank you Granny K and Aunt Shannon for bidding on these in the silent auction. Today is my first day in something other than PJ's.

First Real Bath and 2nd week

Elise's umbilical cord fell off, so she now gets to lay in the water. Kira is a major helper during bath time, esp with keeping her sister warm by pouring water on her.

Kira also likes to make sure Elise has toys at all times. Notice Elise's defensive posture. Daddy napping with his favorite girls.

Auntie Em Comes to Town

Auntie Em came for a short visit to meet Elise. I was overly tired and did not want her to go home, so threw a little bit of a tantrum. Yes, Mom loves these pictures and insists on posting them.

Eating Outside

The Harrison's (Steph, Chris, Hunter, and Oceanna) came to visit right after the baby was born and Kira so enjoyed playing with the big kids. No booster seat for her when they were here!
