Just another day in march

Seriously, it snowed 3 days ago. Now they're in sun dresses! Gotta love Colorado! Kira refused sleeves or a sweater because "it's just windy mom, not cold". Hahaha!

Awesome bike

Elise found her birthday present in the closet and pulled it out. She brought it to Ben and I and said "autumn". I asked if she just said "awesome", and she said "yes. Autumn bike". Hilarious! Yes, Ben feels the need to test out all of their toys! Video to come soon, but I have to download to the computer for video posts. (I'm becoming spoiled with the iPhone app!)

Big girl

Elise loves to wear Mommy's stuff. This includes my mittens and hat. Yes, the hat underneath mine is the one Kira wore as an infant. E still has a tiny head! (And body) But, hey, she's on the charts for height!

Playing in the snow

They wear themselves out playing in the snow. It makes for a good afternoon nap for Mom to get a few things done.

Play date with Lila

We went to Lila's for some fun yesterday. The girls both love playing with her, and all of her toys. We took a short wagon ride and picked up a fourth. She was only ~6 months, and didn't last long before she wanted to hang out with her mom. I had two girls having a melt down when we left. I kept offering to leave them. Todd thought their hands were already full with Lila.

Because every little girl needs a giant hat...

I think I'm worried...

Elise loves dancing. And being naked. And dancing on the table. And dancing naked. We insist on clothing when table dancing. It seems only fitting that she dance on the table with an "I'd rather be naked" onsie.

Fresh snow+Sugar+Milk+Vanilla=

A big mess and the girls' new favorite ice cream! I grew up making snow ice cream with snow and evaporated milk when we got big snows.  Ben had never heard of such a thing. This surprised me since he grew up with probably 50 times more snow than I did. I didn't have any evaporated milk at home, so had to improvise. The recipe needs a little work, but it was fun!
