Escape!

Grandma and Granpa Harris took Mom and I out to lunch for Mom's birthday today. I decided it was time to go and escaped from the restaurant patio. Mom stopped to take some pictures. I guess she wasn't that worried that I would really get all the way away before she cuaght me.

Who needs a bath, or parents?

I may love bath time, but I can have fun just playing with my bath toys in the bathroom. I have also started to climb into the bath all by myself. This scares my parents!

Sleepy Baby

Dad loves that I sleep with my butt up in the air and mash my head into the side (or corner) of the crib. I just like to sleep!

At the park with Eli

We both love snacks!

Aren't we both cute? Eli and I took our parents to the park and went for a long walk. We both did a good job of staying awake in our strollers and then had some snacks after the walk. We are not very coordinated yet with both looking at the camera and looking cute at the same time. Give us some practice and there will be a nice picture of both of us that isn't blurry!

Chubby Cheeks

Isn't this dress cute? Mom just loves to put bows in my hair these days!

Playtime

Mom and I went to visit Maggie and her kids and Mom finally brought her camera. We had a great time playing in the playroom. Ethan and I like to play with the musical bench, even when Jackson is sitting on it to watch videos. Maggie read to all of us. The boys and I share a favorite book: My Big Animal Book. I love it when the boys make all the animal noises. I hope to make those noises soon, also.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

It was a beautiful 70 degree day, so Mom and I took a nice long walk (isn't my hat cute?). Then we called and sang Happy Birthday to my Great Grandma GrandJan. Finally, we spent a little time at a party that our neighbors Todd and Renee threw for St. Patrick's Day. They are fun and have a cat that I get to watch when I'm over. We had a great time, then I came home and went to bed. What an exciting day!

Girl's Weekend

Mom and I had a great time with Auntie Em in Durango. I hope to visit again very soon. She is so much fun! I tried to hide out in the back of Emily's car when we got to the airport, but I was happy to see Dad when we got home.

River Walk

Watching the water in the River

We spent some time at the skate park. We even watched a man riding his bike through part of the park (the less crazy part) with his son in a seat on the front!

My New Favorite Fruit

Yes, this is me eating a lime. This weekend was my first taste, and I have to say I like them. I don't even pucker when I eat them!

Auntie Em

Here is a cute picture of me and Auntie Em outside her library in Durango. She checked out some cool Ninja books for me to read while we were visiting.

Shopping in Durango

We did a lot of browsing in the shops on Main Street. Here I am sporting a cute hat, some stylin' sunglasses, and playing with the stuffed animals at one store.

I found some kids to play with in the play room attached to the country club bar. We had fun while the adults talked. It gave me a chance to walk around the furniture and burn off some energy.

Belly Up to the Bar!

We went to have dinner at the country club where Auntie-Em's friend Jamie works. The Bar stools are perfect for kids because they keep us at the right hight without letting us fall off. Here is my fish face. Don't we take a cute picture?

My First Hotel Room

Mom and I flew to Durango on Saturday to visit Auntie-Em. I still wasn't feeling very good and took a rest on the floor while mom set up the Pack-N-Play. Then, I took a nap in just my diaper to cool off. I was still running a high fever and was pretty cranky, but was glad to see my aunt!

My first (and hopefully last!) ER Visit

I started getting sick last night and woke up today with a big fever. Mom couldn't figure out why I might be sick since I don't have a cold, my ears aren't infected, and I wasn't vomiting or having diarrhea. I slept all but 2 hours and didn't play with a single toy today and kept spiking fevers to 102.5 before I was due for Tylenol or Motrin. Mom checked my urine and it looked bad, but it was after office hours. The pediatrician said I had to go to the ER and have a catheter specimen and get on antibiotics. I didn't like that visit one bit, and I usually like the doctor. The ER urine looked bad, too, so I'm on antibiotics and will have an ultrasound of my plumbing system when I'm done. I'll keep you posted on the progress!

Breakfast

I think breakfast is my favorite meal! I love toast. I also got to try a hard boiled egg and craisins.

Super Sized Play Date

Ten people at Mom's work had 11 babies in a 4 month span. 9 of us got together, with a couple of older siblings, to have a playdate/reunion. It was pretty crazy, but I made a couple of friends!

Swinging

We had such nice weather this week that Mom finally hung the swing I got from Grandma and Grandpa Harris for Christmas. She needs to get rope extensions to put it on the tree branch that will be it's permanent home, so for now it is under the covered patio. I don't care where it is; I'm just happy to have a swing in our backyard. Now I can swing every day!
